  • Are you a dedicated and compassionate Health Visitor looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of London? Join our team in Central London and make a difference in the lives of children and families in our diverse community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Family Support: Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to parents on child development, nutrition, immunizations, and overall child health.
    • Child Health Surveillance: Conduct regular assessments and developmental reviews, identifying any concerns and ensuring early intervention when necessary.
    • Safeguarding: Recognize and respond to signs of abuse or neglect, participating in multi-agency safeguarding meetings and contributing to child protection plans.
    • Health Promotion: Lead public health initiatives and deliver educational sessions to promote healthy lifestyles within the community.
    • Collaborative Working: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, schools, and community groups to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for families.
    • Community Engagement: Build relationships within the community, understand their health needs, and advocate for accessible resources and support.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Qualified Health Visitor with current NMC registration (Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - Health Visiting).
    • Must have previous experience working as a Health Visitor in the NHS with a relevant qualification.
    • Recent experience as a Health Visitor, including working with targeted and safeguarding families; running well-baby clinics.
    • Experience managing your own caseload.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
    • Passionate about public health and committed to promoting the well-being of children and families.
