Contract Dates: 19 August 2024 - 31 October 2024Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist Specialist Practitioner with a strong background in working with children and young people with moderate to complex additional needs. This role involves assessment, intervention planning, training, and providing care, with a focus on effective case management and service development.

Essential Criteria:
- Experience: Proven experience working with children and young people with moderate to complex additional needs at a Band 7 level.
- Skills: Proficient in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation, including training/upskilling others.
- Case Management: Ability to efficiently complete and close episodes of care, manage time effectively, and contribute to service development.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is essential as the role involves visiting community sites such as schools and homes.
Desirable Criteria:
- Specialist Knowledge: Experience in specialist seating and upper limb splinting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Provide direct intervention and support to children and young people.
- Deliver training and upskilling sessions as needed.
- Manage and complete episodes of care efficiently.
- Visit community sites, including schools and homes, as required.
