Hours: 37.5 hours per week (30-minute break)
Direct Pay Mechanism: Band 6 £23 - £25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize general OT skills for effective discharge planning.
• Collaborate within the Orthopaedic OT team to deliver high-quality care.
• Assess and develop treatment plans for patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and recovery.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately.

Essential Qualifications:

• Relevant Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent.
• Registration with a professional body (e.g., HCPC or equivalent).
• Proven experience in Orthopaedic Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Strong skills in discharge planning and patient assessment.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience working within an orthopaedic OT team.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively.
