We are looking for experienced Mental Health Nurses to work for one of the busiest clients in the Midlands.

Description:

As a Bank Band 5 Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities), you will have at least six months of previous experience working in an inpatient mental health setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have experience in carrying out a diverse range of duties, including the assessment, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nursing care that is evidence-based, person-centered, and recovery-focused.

Essential:

• Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability
• Completion of Band 5 preceptorship program (evidence may be required from RNs who have been registered for less than 2 years or with gaps)
• Ongoing registration with the NMC

Knowledge:

• Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments, recovery principles, and person-centered care
• Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Programme Approach
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that these can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health

Experience:

• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team structure
• Experience assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs
