Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Stroke Team

Location: Midlands

Position: Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Contract: 12 weeks (with potential to extend)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary: Competitive Band 6 Rates

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for stroke rehabilitation? Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic Stroke Team. This temporary role offers the chance to impact patient care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to stroke patients, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about stroke management and recovery strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• At least one year of neurorehabilitation experience, with a preference for stroke experience.
• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of stroke rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
