We are looking for experienced Band 5/6 Mental Health Nurses for a well-known Mental Health Trust in the Northwest.

Description:

• Support the Unit Manager in providing clinical and professional leadership within the designated clinical area of responsibility.
• Support the Unit Manager and colleagues in implementing the Trust's policies and protocols, including those of the prison.
• Ensure the delivery of optimal quality of care.
• Advocate and implement evidence-based clinical practice and development.
• Collaboratively implement change management.
• Provide care in partnership with service users, the prison service, criminal justice-related agencies, and allied agencies.
• Care for both mental health, physical, and palliative conditions.
• Deputise appropriately when required.
• Deliver group health promotion and therapeutic 1-1 sessions.
• Provide personal care.

Skills & Experience:

• Registered RMN - post preceptorship.
• Demonstrable experience of working in a healthcare setting relevant to specialism.
• Experience in secure, forensic, or prison settings.
• Awareness of MDT and multi-agency working.
• Understanding of the nursing process in accordance with evidence-based practice.
• Awareness and application of trauma-informed care.
