    Pay rate: £23 - £25 per hour

    Pay Mechanism: Direct Pay Mechanism

    Job Summary:

    • Join the children's integrated physiotherapy and occupational therapy team.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within complex needs services and social services.
    • Provide specialist physiotherapy for patients aged 0-19 years.
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individual treatment programs.

    Main Duties:

    • Gain consent and conduct physiotherapy assessments.
    • Clinically diagnose and formulate treatment plans.
    • Treat complex patients while respecting their choice, privacy, and dignity.
    • Manage a defined clinical caseload and work as a member of the MDT with indirect supervision.
    • Supervise Band 5 physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
    • Operate as an autonomous practitioner, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
    • Provide support and guidance to more junior staff.

    Key Responsibilities and Skills:

    Essential:

    • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
    • Registered with HCPC.
    • Evidence of CPD and advanced clinical reasoning in Paediatrics.
    • Specialist knowledge in anatomy and physiology.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and motivate a team.
    • Flexible and able to work in a stressful environment.

    Desirable:

    • Postgraduate training in relevant clinical areas (e.g., CPIPS-UK, GIOBS).
    • Previous senior role experience and audit involvement.
    • Teaching, supervisory, and appraisal experience.
