Locum Biomedical Scientist

Role: Managing the Day-to-Day Routine Haematology & Coagulation Sections

Location: London

Contract Length: 3 Months

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Band: Band 7

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations within the Haematology and Coagulation sections.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of haematology and coagulation samples.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory practice and quality control.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and provide training as required.
• Handle complex cases and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Manage stock levels and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
• Significant experience in Haematology and Coagulation.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
