We are looking for experienced Mental Health Nurses to work at a private hospital in Birmingham.

Description:
As a Bank Band 5 Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities), you will have at least six months of previous experience working in an inpatient mental health setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will carry out a diverse range of duties, including the assessment, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nursing care that is evidence-based, person-centred, and recovery-focused.

Essential:

• Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability
• Completion of Band 5 preceptorship programme (evidence may be required for RNs registered for less than 2 years or with gaps)
• Ongoing registration with the NMC

Knowledge:

• Understanding and knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, recovery principles, and person-centred care
• Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Programme Approach
• Knowledge of physical health conditions and their impact on patients with mental ill health

Experience:

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs
