  • Are you an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? We are recruiting for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join the team in a leading NHS Trust in Wales.

    The Trust only works on Direct Engagement Mode of payment.

    Description:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs in an acute hospital setting.
    • Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
    • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Educate and support patients, their families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process.
    • Accurately maintain patient records and actively contribute to discharge planning.

    Requirements:

    • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
    • Experience working in an acute hospital setting is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on patient-centered care.
    • A commitment to continuous professional development.
