  • We are looking for a skilled and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join one of the Trust in South West England. Trust provides a wide range of health services, including acute care, community services, mental health, and learning disability support. As an integrated trust, it is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care across hospital and community settings.

    The Trust only works on Direct Engagement Mode of payment.

    Description:

    This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, supporting patients with long-term conditions, including ME/CFS and Post Covid-19 Syndrome.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide 1:1 therapy sessions focused on patient self-management.
    • Independently manage a complex and specialised caseload.
    • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
    • Utilise clinical expertise to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
    • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and monitor progress to ensure the best outcomes.

    Requirements:

    • Awareness of Long-Term Conditions (LTC) - ME/CFS & Post Covid-19 Syndrome.
    • Proven experience working 1:1 with patients, focusing on self-management.
    • Ability to independently manage complex caseloads.
    • Experience of clinical practice within the NHS or an equivalent healthcare provider.
